An erotic story about a woman, the assistant of an art gallery, who gets involved in an impersonal affair with a man. She barely knows about his life, only about the sex games they play, so the relationship begins to get complicated.
Yesterday I watched this movie with my friends to have a laugh and because it’s a so-called ’80 cult movie.
Was it erotic? Yes, probably.
Was it a good movie? No, not really.
Disappointed? Yeah, totally!
I’ve heard so many things about this movie, that’s why I decided to watch it. I’m always curious when I have to deal with cult movies because normally I don’t understand that label. I don’t know if I can really say it was worth watching but I’m sure I can say it wasn’t so well acted. I didn’t like Kim Basinger at all and Mickey Rourke was just a hot guy. Nothing more.
The plot was slightly absurd and if I have to describe this movie with two words I’d say… soft porn.
And if I have to tell the truth… it’s so sad to see all the changes from picture 1 to picture 2. I miss the old Mickey Rourke.
I know… everyone gets old. Even this movie.
